The Annual Parish Retreat was held at Shrine Mont in Orkney Springs, VA, May 7-9.
The Rev. Geoff Gwynne, Vicar of Christ the King Episcopal Church, Harrisonburg, VA, served as the teacher for the weekend. He spoke about St. Matthew's theme of this year, "Come, Follow me," and how he was called to priesthood despite his own youthful belief in atheism. He also talked about his parish's called to remain faithful witnesses within the Episcopal Church.
